Fallout 4 Next-Gen Update Launches April 25 for Xbox Series X|S and PS5

Bethesda Game Studios is busy this April with a lot of updates coming to its Fallout games and with the television series now available to watch on Prime Video. Fallout 4 is finally getting its free next-gen update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on April 25, 2024. 

The Fallout 4 next-gen update includes Performance mode and Quality mode settings and native applications for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. There will also be stability improvements and fixes. With this next-gen upgrade, you’ll be able to experience up to 60 FPS with increased resolutions that were never before possible with Fallout 4. 

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will also get an update with stability improvements, login, and quest fixes.

Bethesda confirmed there will also be a free Fallout 4 update for PC. You’ll be able to experience the 2015 Fallout title on your upgraded PC with widescreen and ultra-widescreen support.

While Fallout 4 has been available on PC via Steam, Microsoft Store and GOG, Bethesda announced it will come to the Epic Games Store. Also, Fallout 4 will be Steam Deck verified.
