Activision released Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time in October 2020 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC and it seems to have been a great success. According to Toby Schadt’s LinkedIn profile, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time sold over 5 million copies since its release.

Toby Schadt is the Design Director at Toys for Bob and if there is someone who could have a good idea of the number of copies sold it could be him.

Toys for Bob are already working on their next big project and it’s reported to be Spyro 4 which they have apparently partnered with Microsoft to make that happen. Toys for Bob did go independent from Activision which allows some more freedom for the developer.

Activision or Toys for Bob has not confirmed the number of sales for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time publicly. The only evidence is from Toby Schadt for now.
