The upcoming Call of Duty title will be available on Xbox Game Pass this fall, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal. After multiple reports indicating that Microsoft was debating internally if they should put the popular FPS on the service.

“Microsoft plans a major shakeup of its videogame sales strategy by releasing the coming installment of Call of Duty to its subscription service instead of the longtime, lucrative approach of only selling it a la carte.”

It would definitely attract more people to play Call of Duty on Xbox or PC with this type of move, but other insiders also say Microsoft is planning a tiered system to Game Pass. For games like Call of Duty and other premium AAA titles we may have to pay more for the service in order to obtain those games for “free”.

It’s rumored that Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will be the name of Call of Duty 2024 and it will be revealed this month with a long direct coming on June 9 after the Xbox Games Showcase. It was already figured out that the new title from Treyarch will take place during the Gulf War and it will come out in early Fall.
