Following its recent launch, the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra is officially the best phone for photography based on the DXOMARK smartphone camera ranking.
To be exact, DXOMARK tested the Pura 70 Ultra recently, and it got a total camera score of 163, beating the previous #1 ranked phone, the HONOR Magic6 Pro. This means Huawei has reclaimed the DXOMARK ranking throne with its Pura 70 Ultra as the brand recently had the #1 ranked phone in the Mate 60 Pro+.
The Pura 70 Ultra is Huawei’s latest flagship, and it packs a 50MP main camera, a 40MP ultrawide, and a 50MP macro telephoto. With this setup, the phone is able to capture great photos in a multitude of lighting conditions.
This is helped by the fact that the Pura 70 Ultra along with the base and the Pro models feature Huawei’s latest generation Ultra Lighting XMAGE Camera Imaging System. With this, the phones can capture high-speed objects in motion, making them great matches for taking photos of fleeting moments.
The Ultra can also capture photos with up to 200x zoom thanks to its telephoto camera. This also doubles as a capable macro shooter that can take photos with a 5cm minimum focus distance
Finally, the Pura 70 series promise to be great partners for portrait photography thanks to both the great main camera and the various image processing techniques that the phones pack.
