UPDATE: 05/03/24

The same individual who correctly predicted that Horizon Forbidden West PC would receive a Playstation blog post today also predicts that tomorrow will bring an announcement on Ghost of Tsushima PC. Additionally, he tweeted this info before Shpeshal Nick, who hinted at an upcoming revelation of the Ghost of Tsushima PC port.

ORIGINAL STORY

Fans have been wondering why the Ghost of Tsushima PC port is not being released, especially since Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will be available on March 21 at the Epic Games Store and Steam. This might soon change, though, as one of the trustworthy sources in the gaming industry speculates that the PC port of Ghost of Tsushima might be shown next week.

Shpeshal_Nick of XboxEra tweeted the information, providing the news. He said, “I’m hearing that we might be getting something about the Ghost of Tsushima PC port pretty soon. Maybe around the 5th?”

Shpeshal_Nick has a track record of leaking details about the recent State of Play, indicating reliability in PlayStation-related predictions. And he has stated quite clearly that the announcement of a Ghost of Tsushima PC port would occur “around March 5,” so we can anticipate hearing about it sometime next week.

If these reports hold true, Ghost of Tsushima will join the ranks of PlayStation exclusives making their way to PC, following titles like God of War (2018) and The Last of Us: Part I. And the complete edition of Horizon: Forbidden West is already slated for a PC release on March 21st. However, the exact manner of Sony’s announcement for the Ghost of Tsushima PC port remains unclear. It could be a simple blog post, but the possibility of a dedicated State of Play show cannot be ruled out.

Well, considering the recent success of Helldivers 2, there’s a growing belief that Sony might be adjusting its strategy to bring games to PC sooner in their lifecycle, and the Ghost of Tsushima PC port might be one of those. Also, unverified rumors regarding Ghost of Tsushima 2 have surfaced online and one of the sources claims that the sequel will be revealed at the PlayStation Showcase in May or June.

Hence, all of this indicates that some sort of announcement, be it the Ghost of Tsushima PC port or the sequel will eventually happen. However, the timing remains uncertain, and only Sony holds the key to when fans can expect to enjoy Ghost of Tsushima on PC.
