Destiny 2 Open Access Month lets players experience Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, The Witch Queen

Destiny 2 players who haven’t experienced the expansions are in for a treat as the game’s Open Access Month is now live, giving players access to the game’s expansions, including Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, and The Witch Queen.

Now until early June, players on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC can experience the three aforementioned expansion, along with all Seasonal content from Destiny Year 6 These include Season of Defiance, Season of the Deep, Season of the Witch, and Season of the Wish. Plus, all players who play through these expansions and Season will keep the gear and weapons they earned, with no need to purchase them after.

This special promo is here to promote Lightfall, the latest expansion for Destiny 2. After all, players who have taken a break from Destiny 2 but want to go back now have no reason to miss out on the previous expansions.

As for existing players on PlayStation, Lightfall is available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers as it’s part of the May 2024 free lineup. Other available titles include EA Sports FC 24, Ghostrunner 2, and Tunic.

Finally, players can also get special deals on the Destiny 2 catalog along with the Lightfall + Annual Pass bundle. The discounts are available on the PlayStation and Xbox stores now until June 3. Meanwhile, the deals will be available on Steam beginning May 21.
