Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is one of the most anticipated adaptations to hit the theaters this year and Paramount has been very quiet on its official cast. During CinemaCon, a short trailer was shown to those in attendance giving a glimpse of Shadow the Hedgehog riding his iconic motorcycle among other things. It has been rumored that Hayden Christensen will be the voice of Shadow, but apparently, that is not the case.

According to film critic, John Campea, Hayden Christensen is not the voice of Shadow in Sonic 3, but whoever it is will make people happy.

The official Sonic the Hedgehog account on X (Twitter) shared an image confirming Shadow’s motorcycle is real and it’s on display at MotoGP in Austin, TX this weekend.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has wrapped filming months ahead of its theater release on December 20, 2024, and now the wait continues to see the first trailer that is highly anticipated. Jim Carrey will also be returning in Sonic 3 as Doctor Eggman along with the usual cast from the first two Sonic movies.

Many have hoped Keanu Reaves would be the voice of Shadow, but at this point, it seems unpredictable who will take the role. We’ll have to wait for the official announcement from Paramount Pictures in the coming months.
