It appears Minecraft: Bedrock Edition might soon be hitting the popular PC Gaming platform Steam real soon!
According to reports from multiple Gamepass Ultimate users on Reddit, when redeeming the latest promotion for 500 Minecoins, the redemption confirmation screen shows the following message :
Based on the above message it seems a Steam version of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is in the works and will be released soon and likely before the 22nd of June based on the date in the image.
While Minecraft’s Java edition has a Linux build that can be run on Steamdeck by following tutorials online, Bedrock which has native controller support and more is not compatible with Linux, so putting that version on Steam would make it far more playable on the system and portable for players.
