Blumhouse has already confirmed that Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 is already in the works after the first film of the video game series featuring killer animatronics had tremendous success at the box office. Emma Tammi will also return as the Director and it was reported production for FNAF 2 would begin at the start of 2024. Jason Blum posted an image that may have teased what could be two new animatronics featured in Five Nights At Freddy’s 2.
Mangle and Toy Bonnie are the two animatronics that are in the makings for the sequel, at least that’s what we think from the image shared where Jason mentions Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is working its magic.

Who is Mangle in Five Nights At Freddy’s?
In the lore of Five Nights At Freddy’s, Mangle serves as a major antagonist and is a redesigned counterpart of Foxy who was in the first game and movie. The reason Fazbear Entertainment remade Foxy’s design is because they thought it was too scary and was altered to be more kid-friendly with Mangle.
Toy Bonnie would be making his debut in the Five Nights At Freddy’s film series with this sequel and it makes sense since both Toy Bonnie and Mangle both debuted in the second FNAF game. This provides further evidence that Blumhouse will be following the FNAF series in order.
Five Nights At Freddy’s was the highest-grossing horror movie of 2023 which had a number of films in the genre that year. One of the biggest criticisms of the FNAF movie was that it wasn’t scary enough and Blumhouse recognized that by confirming the sequel will have a bigger focus on horror.
