Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Schedules Season 2 Launch For July 25th

Although introduced as an exclusively single-player experience, the Batman Arkhamverse is currently a live-service model with the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. However, developer Rocksteady Studios confirmed the game is preparing an offline mode coming later this year. Thus far, plans for the game that rolled out is Season 1 with playable character The Joker earlier this spring.

Additionally, the game does draw uncertainty for its lifespan. In one confirmation to IGN, Rocksteady Studios does determine that its promised post-launch plans are to be delivered. However, there is no current discussions on content following. This comes as part of the after effect of what is reportedly a $200 million loss for Warner Bros. for the development of this free-to-play experience.

Recently, Rocksteady Studios announced Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 2 is set to release later this month. Scheduled for July 11th, the firm also released a roadmap sharing its planned content including the next playable character, Mrs. Freeze. However, the update has now been pushed to July 25th.

“Update: Task Force X, we’ll be adjusting the release timing for the next season, #SuicideSquadGame Season 2 will now launch on July 25. Thank you for your patience,” the game studio announces in a X post on the official profile. The new items to come in-game include weapon sets, themed-cosmetics, and a fresh battle pass alongside new Elsewhere missions.

Rocksteady Studios did confirm that the battle pass system does take inspiration from Halo Infinite. In that, there is no time limit on when to complete these content trackers and can grind through them at your own pace. You can read the full report by heading here.
