Modern Warfare III is getting an 8-bit mode

Season 4 Reloaded is set to come to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Warzone on June 26, 2024. The update will bring new maps and even more modes including the first we have seen in the series. Soon enough, you can play Call of Duty multiplayer in 8-bit.

The new playlist modifier: Bit Party will bring an experience we have never seen in a Call of Duty title. In this playlist, eliminating enemies inflates your own Operator’s head, with expansion head sizes of small, medium, and large. Get eliminated and your Operator’s head will reset back to small.

Having a larger head will no doubt make you an easy target for enemies, but it also confers objective bonuses. The larger your Operator’s head is, the more points you will earn for killing enemies in Team Deathmatch, collecting tags in Kill Confirmed, and holding objectives in Hardpoint. As for Domination, a bigger head will capture flags faster.

The Bit Party Playlist will take place on a variety of Vortex Variant Multiplayer maps alongside the debut of the new map, Bitvela.

Activision and Infinity Ward continue to do unique events and crossovers for Call of Duty. Recently, they did a Fallout crossover bringing the Vault Dweller Operator outfit to the game.
