Fallout has reached over 65 million viewers in 16 days

The Fallout TV Show on Amazon’s Prime Video has been very successful since it dropped on April 10, 2024. The streamer announced the Fallout series had reached 65 million viewers in the first 16 days of availability making it the 2nd most-watched title ever on the platform.

Fallout is Amazon’s most-watched show from adults ranging from 18-34 with more than half of the audience being from outside the United States. Some of the top countries for the new television series is France, Brazil, and the United Kingdom.

Fallout has been renewed for Season 2 already

With how successful the show has been, Amazon has already renewed Fallout for Season 2, and will Fallout: New Vegas will play a role in it. The show has been so popular that thousands to millions of people hopped back on the video game series. Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76 all have seen a spike in player numbers across consoles and PCs. Bethesda confirmed there were almost 5 million players across all Fallout games in a single day.

There are many reports that Microsoft is aware of the Fallout demand and would like Fallout 5 to come out sooner. It’s safe to say we shouldn’t expect Fallout 5 to come out until at least the early 2030s with Bethesda working on a new Elder Scrolls that has an unknown release window.
